Digital Architect - Levels - Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour

Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour

Here you can find all the levels that I have released/will release for Zero Hour.

Levels which are displayed with a red-lines box are levels which are a "Work In Progress". They are not done yet.
There are two categories of maps. The first is the most common type of map, namely Skirmish maps. These are maps that you can use to play against your friends or against computer controlled players. The second type of maps are Shellmaps, which are not playable maps. They are what you see when you start Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour.

NOTE: New maps are added at the top of the category they belong to.

Skirmish Maps

These are all the Skirmish maps I've released. These are maps that you can use to play against your friends or against computer controlled players (AI). All maps have correctly set up AI, unless otherwise stated.

Desert Battle

Released: 27th January 2007

This is a 2 player map set in a desert environment. It is centered around a sparsely populated village which main purpose is to supply the trains passing through this area. The area has a few rich natural resources, hence trains stop here to refuel. Extra resources (oil derricks) can be found across the map.

Middle Man

Released: 27th December 2005

This is a highly-detailed 3 player map set in a tropical environment. There are a few extra supply depots and oil derricks available. One player is located partially in between the two others. Can you survive being the man in the middle?

Jungle Canyon

Released: 22th October 2005

This is a 2 player map set in a jungle. A canyon divides the field in pieces. This map was designed for and submitted to the Open Map Competition 3.

It ended second in the Open Map Competition 3 with a score of 84.7%! The download includes the Judges Comments.

Snow Triangle

Released: 10th February 2005

This is a 3 player map set in a snowy environment on a very cold bright night. Mountains form natural borders but there are a lot of mountain passes. Some of these also contain oil derricks. The middle of the triangle also contains other tech-buildings.


Hades' Island

Released: 21th July 2004

This is a 5 player level set in the depths of hell. The action takes place on a big pentagram. Be carefull where you go because fire and explosions rule over this island.

Temperate Mappack

Released: 6th July 2004

This is a temperate mappack made by DaRkAlEx and the G.o.a.T. It contains 4 maps and a lite version of the 8 player map.

2 maps in this mappack or made by me. They are Lonely Mountain and River Crossing XL.

River Crossing XL

Released: 6th July 2004

This is a 8-player map set in a mountainous forest environment. Each player has a decent base area and plenty of resources. Tech buildings and more resources can be found closer towards the rivers. This map was made for the Temperate Map Pack 1, made by DaRkAlEx and the G.o.a.T.

NOTE: Due to the amount of detail in the regular version, I also included a lite version of the same map. If you have a less powerful PC you might want to play that version. The lite version has the same layout as the regular version, but I removed all the trees and most of the rocks to make it run faster.

Lonely Mountain

Released: 6th July 2004

This is a highly detailled 4-player map set in a temperate environment. The lonely mountain in the middle contains extra resources so it's worth exploring. This map was made for the Temperate Map Pack 1, made by DaRkAlEx and the G.o.a.T.

River Crossing

Released: 19th April 2004

This is a 4-player map set in a snowy environment. Each player has a large base area and plenty of resources. Tech buildings and more resources can be found closer towards the rivers.

City Docks

Released: 23th March 2004

This is a 3-player map set in a city. The ocean is nearby and the city has some docks to conduct trade with neighbouring cities. You'll find oil derricks and other tech buildings which you can capture. Search near the dam for extra resources.

Area 52

Released: 8th March 2004

This is a 2-player map set in the desert near Area 52. This research base is so secret that the US government constructed Area 51 to cover up its existence. There are some oil derricks and other techbuildings available for capture.

Paradise Lost

Released: 23th February 2004

This is a 4-player map set on a tropical island with a lost civilization. The coasts are quite inaccessible and many attempts have been made to take the island. Some attempts still leave their marks in the landscape. There are some tech-buildings available for capture. Extra resources can be found on the higher plateau in the middle.

Arctic Base

Released: 10th February 2004

This is a 6-player map set in an arctic environment. There is a main research facility in the middle, but also some small outposts across the map. There are a bunch of techbuildings available for capture. There is also a train riding around providing the main facility with goods.

Oasis

Released: 31th January 2004

This is a 4-player map set in the middle of the desert, near an oasis. Over time there was a community established around the water. It is quite detailled. There are plenty of resources and you have lots of place to build. There are also Oil Derricks available for capture as well as some other tech structures. Near the mountains, which apparantly contain quite some natural resources, you might find extra supplies.

Alps Carnage

Released: 9th January 2004

This is a 2-player map set in the moutains. It is highly detailled. There are plenty of resources but some might be high up in the mountains. So don't be afraid to explore. There are also Oil Derricks available for capture as well as some other tech structures. Extra supplies were dropped at some places. Do pay attention to the train that is riding around because it will not stop for your units nor buildings.

This is my first map, I hope you enjoy it. ;)


Shellmaps

Shellmaps are not playable maps. They are what you see when you start Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour.

All Stars Shellmap

Released: 17th July 2007

This is a highly detailed shellmap for the All Stars mod for Zero Hour. It depicts two bases (Tibs and Reds) that are well established in the environment. The Gen-team sends wave after wave attacking the two bases. Tibs and Reds also fight amongst eachother. The shellmaps showcases a bunch of the buildings, units and superpowers included within the mod!

This is a shellmap, not a playable level!

Snowy Mountain

Released: 2th February 2007

This is a highly detailed shellmap for Zero Hour. It depicts a GLA stronghold hidden high up in the mountains. The GLA uses this stronghold to execute scud storm strikes. Sometimes China performs airstrikes against this stronghold, but they never succeed.

This is a shellmap, not a playable level!

Fortress of China

Released: 25th July 2005

This is a highly detailed shellmap for Zero Hour. It depicts a fortress of China under constant attack from both the USA and the GLA. However, China is able to stand its ground and be victorious.

This is a shellmap, not a playable level!
